It gave the following error.
Makefile:23: *** Error: unable to find the sources of your current Linux kernel. Specify KERN_DIR=and run Make again.. Stop.
I have searched around and tried several attempts to get it fixed. In the end it was from this post that I have found the rescue. yum install kernel* dkms gcc
After rebooting the guest-VM, I can see that the mouse integration is working, the screen display is optimized as well. Hurray. It saved the day!
